Objectives Acquaint students with Paris monuments and museums Familiarize students with the Paris métro system Notes You may wish to brainstorm with students keywords in French that will help direct them to French-language Web sites to complete this WebQuest. In this activity, students plan a day of sight-seeing in Paris using the métro to get around. They will be typing in their stations de départ and stations d'arrivée at the RATP Web site. Remind them that they'll start out their day from their hotel near the Denfert-Rochereau station, but they won't be leaving from that station each time they get back on the métro. Expansion If students are able to print photos, display the photos of the Paris monuments and museums in the classroom. Have students explain to the class why they wanted to visit the three monuments or museums they chose. You could also take a poll to see which monuments or museums were the most visited.
