1		How can the title of this play be seen as ironic? Be sure you understand the meaning of the word "trifles" and what it means in the context of the play before you write your answer.
2		Go through the play and make a list of props. Are there any that you would be tempted to remove because they don't function strongly enough in the narrative? Which ones? If you didn't find any, why not?
3		Find a definition of "dialect" online. How can you apply this information to "Trifles"? In other words, how does dialect function within the play? What part of the country does the play take place in? How can you tell?
