About the Author



Carol Yacht is a textbook author and software consultant with a teaching career of more than 30 years. Carol's teaching experience includes Yavapai College; West Los Angeles College; California State University, Los Angeles; and Beverly Hills High School and Adult School. She started teaching computer accounting in 1978. She has worked for IBM Corporation as an educational instruction specialist, and served on the Computer Education Task Force and Hospitality Committee for the National Business Education Association. Carol is a frequent speaker at state, regional, and national conventions; technical school consortium meetings; and Department of Education conferences. Carol earned her A.S. degree from Temple University, B.S. degree from the University of New Mexico, and M.A. degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
