After changing her views on her earlier research on sex differences, Sandra Bem now believes that the ideal is no longer for one to be androgynous but to be "gender-aschematic"--in other words, NOT to use gender and sex-linkage at all in one's processing of social information. What do you think of this concept: Do you think it is ideal not to use sexual- and gender-cognitive orientations to process social information? Do you think this ideal is attainable? What are the advantages to this ideal, do you suppose? Would there also be advantages to processing social information through the lens of sex and gender? Why or why not? Be specific in your response.

Using personal knowledge and textbook examples, explore the possible causes as well as the potential consequences of this sex difference.
