Do you believe there are disadvantages to psychologists focusing on this particular domain over all the others? Why or why not? Do you think there are more "truths" about human nature to be found in the biological domain over all the other domains? Again, why or why not? Defend your reasoning by citing examples from your textbook. Finally, how do you think research advances in biological domain might affect your own career choice as a future psychologist?

In this final chapter, Larsen and Buss highlight several exciting opportunities for development--for bridges to be built--between the different domains of personality psychology. For your last essay, select two or three domains and envision your own fusion between them: What specific questions would you seek to answer and what research might you conduct by combining the approaches germane to, say, the biological domain and the dispositional domain? How might you go about combining these different approaches (in what sequence, with what proportion, focus, etc.)? Even as you let your imagination go wild, remember to be specific when providing evidence to support your ideas.
