Unit Activity Lesson Plan

Introduction
In this unit, students have studied spelling rules. It's useful to study Latin, even though it is no longer spoken, because so many Latin word roots are used in English. Learning to recognize common Latin word roots can help you understand and spell English words. In this lesson, students will practice spelling words with Latin roots.

Lesson Description
Students will read a paragraph and find five misspelled words. Then, they must spell each word correctly in a box below the paragraph.
