Introduction
Students have read about sentence combining. In this lesson, they will combine two or more sentences into one simple or compound sentence.

Lesson Description
Each item begins with a sentence model from literature that has an interesting sentence opener. Students should combine the exercise sentences into a single sentence that matches the structure of the literature model. They may omit words or change word forms as they combine sentence parts.
