Activity:

Go to either the first or second Web site listed below and read Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet or the summary of the play. Then go to the third Web site listed and read the script and lyrics of the musical West Side Story.

Write an essay explaining the similarities between the two plays. Include a comparison of the characters, setting, and plot.
