Differential Equations: A Modeling Approach

Maple Manual for Differential Equations

The HTML file is for viewing the Manual in a browser. Maple is not required. Open the zipped file below and in the "Maple Manual site" folder, load the page named "Open Me First" into your browser.

The Maple files are for those users who happen to have Maple on their computer. They can be used for experimentation. Solve similar problems by altering the code. Vary the parameters to see how the solutions change. Open the zipped file below to view the Maple files.

Maple files (2004.0K)

If the user desires a hard copy, the HTML file could be printed. However, some of the plots will probably break across a page, and the pages will not be numbered as they should be to coincide with the numbering in the Table of Contents. The pdf files make nicer looking correctly numbered pages. The graphs in the pdf files have been carefully sized to appear as they would in a textbook. The Maple code is easier to read in the pdf file. Finally, the pdf files have the advantage that they can be stored and read on the computer when the user is off-line.
