Think about your favorite retailer. Perhaps it is one that you have visited many times, either physically or online. Perhaps it is one that you or your friends have worked for. Maybe you like the current advertising campaign of a retailer.

Visit the Web site of this retailer to find its mission statement, vision statement, or similar statement (e.g. corporate values). Then respond to the following questions:

  1. How easy was it to find the retailer's mission and/or vision statement? Describe the steps you had to take to find this information.

  2. What evidence of the marketing concept do you find in the company mission and/or vision? Provide specific examples.

  3. Peruse the retailer's Web site for examples of commitment to customer satisfaction and implementation of the marketing concept. Explain these examples.
